Kittiwake’s mission is to acquire a better understanding of the role of technology in culture and society. In particular, Kittiwake looks at how technology is transforming our social and cultural processes. It is a project that aims to develop the broader study of digital culture and how it relates to digital humanities and traditional humanities disciplines. Kittiwake collects different perceptions of art, culture, and the digital dociety, and it aims at triggering further interest in them, a deeper understanding of their value in today’s society, and inspiring creative solutions to the conundrums we are bound to find.
