Constitutive Act
In the conviction
that human dignity is inviolable;
Assuming our shared responsibility
to shape the digital society on the basis of human rights and democracy;
In the spirit of Aristotle, defining individual freedom as the basis of democracy and advocating good governance;
In the spirit of Alexander von Humboldt, seeing our digital society as an indivisible whole, condemning racism and discrimination, defending diversity, tolerance and equal treatment;
In the spirit of Wilhelm von Humboldt, promoting the education and civic engagement of world citizens;
Promoting international understanding
and the strengthening of international partnerships within the meaning of the 16th and 17th goals for sustainable development in accordance with Resolution A/RES/70/1 of the United Nations General Assembly;
Promoting
multilateral and democratic Internet governance
based on the multistakeholder approach in accordance with the principles of the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva in 2003 and in Tunis in 2005;
Convinced that the democratic process
requires peace and security on the Internet, endorsing the Paris Appeal for Trust and Security in Cyberspace 2018;
In solidarity
with the employees in the tech industry, promoting a fair and social Digital Marshall Plan;
Promoting innovation
and artificial intelligence in accordance with the principles of privacy, accountability, transparency, security, under human control and professional responsibility and in conformity with human rights;
Adopting the Charter of Human Rights and Principles for the Internet
of the Internet Rights & Principles Coalition and attaching it as the basis of the Constitutive Act and statute for the interpretation of human rights in the digital context;
Determined to work pro bono
for a just and democratic digital society;
we assembled today on the 19th of April 2020

in accordance with Art. 2 § 5 (1) No.1 of the Federal Act to Mitigate the Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic under Civil, Insolvency and Criminal Procedure Law and
unanimously
adopted the following
Decision
We found
the organization named "Aristotle and Alexander Institute for Internet and the just Society" in short form "Institute for Internet and the just Society", "Internet & the just Society" with seat in Berlin.
We adopt
the statute of organization.
We elect
Konstantinos Tsakiliotis as President and Dimitrios Glynos as Vice President of the organization.
