Curious cosmonauts
We look for curious cosmonauts who are keen on analyzing complex problems from every possible angle. You will crew our cycles and research, blog, and make podcasts on cutting edge issues of our digital society around human rights law, digital governance and democracy, and fair AI.
Connect across disciplines
In a vibrant community of tech policy aficionados, human rights activists, early and late career professionals, young scholars and professors, you'll challenge yourself to exit your comfort-zone by exploring themes of the digital society across disciplines. When aboard, you'll get to meet lawyers turned data scientists, statisticians studying AI ethics, neuroscientists into start up counseling and those still trying to figure out where their vocation lies.

We look for those who can inspire others in their communities and promote our cause pro bono. We are deeply interested in building meaningful relationships between our crew members and fostering our international network. For this, you will have the opportunity to meet, exchange and cooperate with interesting personalities from all over the world.
As a member of a civil society organization, you will be able to express your voice by drafting policy in international fora of digital governance and help shape digital society on the basis of human rights and democracy. Seize the opportunity and make a real social impact on the world.
How we work

We learn from and with each other. While we don't always get it right, we share the same enthusiasm and puzzlement in trying to find answers to the conundrums of our digital society. We greatly benefit from our diversity in cultural backgrounds, academic disciplines and music tastes.
project-based
From publishing cosmonaut series to organizing expert talks and producing podcasts, we collaborate across cycles and projects, set and (often) meet deadlines to deliver tangible results. By using a variety of online tools, we redefine agility in pro bono environments defying time zones, distance and unstable internet connections.
fostering initiative
We embrace personal initiative towards exploring new interesting niches based on collaborative efforts. You have a clever idea about a project, an event or an unconventional format outlined in a first draft? You send a message on Slack asking for feedback from your peers. We make sure to find equally interested crew members, check resources, set deliverables and make magic happen.
