Marco Schmidt is an LLM candidate in Law and Economics at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, and a graduate from Trier University's law school, Germany. He studied at the University of Málaga, Spain, through the Erasmus+ program and completed several courses on Legal English and the Anglo-American legal system. Through internships at Clifford Chance and the German Federal Cartel Office, he developed a particular interest in Competition Law which makes him want to become a competition lawyer in his future career. Moreover, he has engaged in his local ELSA group in Trier and participated in Model United Nations conferences. Marco is fluent in German, English, and Spanish and currently learns French.
