Dr. iur. Ma. Angela Leonor Aguinaldo is a Filipino lawyer who obtained recently her doctor of laws degree from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg as the first and only Filipino member of the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law and International Max Planck Research School for Comparative Criminal Law. I specialize in international cooperation in criminal matters, ASEAN and EU matters, as well as issues surrounding the relationship between criminal law and technology. Beforehand, she obtained her juris doctor and LL.M in Forensics, Criminology, and Law from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law and Maastricht University, the Netherlands, respectively.
